Haunting and harrowing, hallucinatory yet grounded, this dark ambient ode to the green drones deep and pained, resonating with terrible loss and longing. What can replace the tree that sheltered so many lives? Who can repair the wounds of our Mother Earth, her skin cruelly torn by plows and backhoes, her body poisoned by a thousand chemicals? And how dare we blame the wild animals we cage to sate our filthy appetites for visiting a pandemic upon us? We deserve far worse, and shall receive it.
